MACAMANA? Dr Asri, Ustaz Hadi and PKR's Dr Md. Nor also agree that "Allah" ...

... is not correctly translated as 'God' ? Hmmm... read here

Now, this I want to follow ...

Tok Guru Nik Aziz says OK, but Tok Guru Hadi says not OK - So PAS macamana ? PKR' s Tok Guru says not OK, but Brother Anwar say OK - so PKR macamana? PR = PKR + PAS + DAP, so PR macamana? DAP lani macamana?

Now, Dr Asri is sort of the 'liberal Malaysian Muslim' Tok Guru, but if he says its not OK, 'liberal Malaysia Muslim" macamana?

But the Quran says its OK (read here) so if you are a Muslim who wants to follow the Quran, macamana? Pandai-pandai lah pilih whom to follow...

“If any do fail to judge by (the light of) what Allah hath revealed, they are (no better than) unbelievers. (Quran 5: 44)

“Say: "What thing is most Weighty in evidence?" Say: "(Allah) is witness between me and you; This Qur'an hath been revealed to me by inspiration, that I may warn you and all whom it reaches. …..." (Quran 6:19).

KUALA LUMPUR, 22 Jan: Presiden PAS, Datuk Seri Tuan Guru Abdul Hadi Awang menjelaskan bahawa Muzakarah Pakar anjuran Institut Kefahaman Islam Malaysia (Ikim) semalam sebenarnya tidak membuat apa-apa resolusi.

Anas - I think it is becoming obvious that public opinion about the entire emotionally charged non-issue is being manipulated by the mainstream press. Apart from the Harakah article quoted by commenter arah, I draw your attention to this blog post by Dr Muhammad Nur Manuty, who was also a participant.

The statement is a joint one with Dr. MAZA and Hadi Awang, both of whom were participants.

The Malaysian Insider article was a verbatim report from Bernama - it has been written to obfuscate and to serve a specific agenda.

There is, I believe, a collusion between certain organizations to ensure that any resolution becomes a "victory" for one and only one viewpoint, which in the long run is not at all going to bode well for Malaysia as we would like it to be.

I leave it at that for now - I'm in the process of gathering enough public domain information on this collusion...
